Conidia elongate ellipsoidal, straight or slightly curved, some inaequilateral, apex obtuse or broadly acute, tapering abruptly to a slightly protruding scar at the base, 1.5–2 µm wide; aseptate, hyaline, thick-walled, with 5–30 min guttules per conidium, (12.5–)15–18(–27.5) × (4.2–)4.5–5.2(–5.8) µm. Culture characteristics: Colonies reaching 4 cm diam on MEA after 1 wk at 25°C, slightly raised, olivaceous-grey to buff (surface), with white margin, and dense white aerial mycelium; yellow-brown (reverse).
